Lash Lift FAQ

How long does a lash lift last?

4-6 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle

Should I do a lash lift or eyelash extensions?

It depends on what look you're going for. A lash lift just curls your natural lashes and extensions add extra thickness and length. Extensions do require a lash fill every 2-3 weeks, while with a lift, you can come back in as early as 6 weeks for maintenance.

I want my lash lift to be more curly, what can be done?

Lash lifts are a trial and error service and everyone has their own preference on how curly they want their lashes. Because of this, we recommend sticking to the same stylist so when you come back to your next appointment, they can refer to your notes and do some adjustments to get your lift closer to your liking. You may come back in sooner than the 6 week mark for this reason.

My lash lift is too curly, what can be done?

After a few days to a week, if you still feel like your lashes are too curly, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can definitely relax the lash lift. Unfortunately, with this method it can completely straighten the lashes. We'd recommend waiting about 4-6 weeks to get another lift done to avoid over processing of your lashes.

What is the aftercare of a lash lift?

Hydrate, moisturize and condition your lashes! Make sure not to leave your appointment without our Elleeplex Lash Conditioning Serum. Use this once a day on clean lashes. The lash lift process does make your lashes more dry and brittle so it's important to condition them daily. Besides that, avoid water/steam for the first 24 hours and avoid sleeping on your lashes for the first few days.

Should I add a lash tint to my lash lift service?

A lash tint is like hair dye for your lashes. We always recommend adding it to your lash lift to give you more of that wow factor. Keep in mind that it doesn't add thickness to your lashes. If you're still planning on wearing mascara regularly then you may not need to add on a tint.

Eyelash Extensions FAQ

How long do eyelash extensions last?

1-3 daily lash fallout is normal. By 2-3 weeks there should be about 50% of the extensions left. That's when you should come back for a lash fill to maintain fullness. After 4 weeks almost all lashes should be gone without fills.

Which set should I start with?

It depends on what look you're going for. Our sets range from most natural to most dramatic. Classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume. You can always start with the lightest set and work your way up at your fill appointment if you want more thickness.

What if my lash extensions are too short/long for my liking?

Everyone has their own preferences on how long, curly and thick they want their lashes. Because of this, we recommend sticking to the same stylist so when you come back for your fill appointment, they can refer to your notes and do some adjustments to get your lashes closer to your liking. Because everyone has such different eye shape and amount of lashes, we won't know how the extensions will look like until they're on. We always recommend going more conservative at first because it is easier to add on than to remove. If you can't wait til your fill appointment to do an adjustment, we would have to charge for a removal and another full set.
